I think it’s kinda nice to just do what you feel. After his time with Final Fantasy Sacaguchi just creat different kind of games.
This is interesting timing considering the Final Fantasy IX remake we are (mostly) sure is coming. That game was the last FF he had a big development role in, so it’s possible he’s not very involved in the remake.
That said, the man’s obsessed with FF14, and I hope we could all retire to an MMO at 60.
I’ve never really played FF but retiring and playing WoW all day sounds like a dream to me.
Can’t blame him. Who would want to do the same thing forever? And if he’s having fun actually enjoying the new games that’s awesome.
