    i think the ad is deliberately misleading old people at the time into thinking it’s something more than a pen that’s just like any other damn pen

    if old peoples’ gullibility today is any indication, it probably worked back then too

      I think the machine is the hook for young people to start reading the ads. Old people are resist to change and resist to technology. Add fancy technology to the ads does not impress old people.

        i agree, except in cases where old people need to buy a gift for their grandkids “hey, here’s a pen that’s also newfangledy sciencey stuff! grandkids will love this!!”
