Seems like a great way to spy on their customers even more and prevent homebrew apps that don’t have their paid seal of approval.

I’ve got quite a few co-workers that work on job sites where there is very little or no internet service. Some don’t even have decent cell service on sites. Using a cloud desktop to access files would be impossible for them
I feel like you definitely didn’t understand me, I’m just joking that we would go back to Windows XP OS dominance because it’s an offline workhorse.
