Yeah my bad I was just trying to articulate that stuck feeling that most people have if they cant really afford to leave or stay. She would lose pretty much everything she ever owned if she had to leave.

I think its funny (incredibly depressing) how disability doesnt scale with cost of living in your local area. Like my disabled mother makes about $1K a month off SSI and she lives in CA luckily with family.

She would be in this same situation if she had to move tomorrow. I aint doing much better but even working a job I dont make enough to rent here so we will have to find a way out together.

there goes my chance to escape CA anytime soon. fuck all insurance companies.

Servo is incredibly exciting to look forward to rather than Ladybird imo. The name of this browser and engine are perfect aswell.

The gameplay is braindead just like most mobas and is not anything like TF2. Its smite with guns.

Was on spotify for a long time but I got really tired of them blocking access and randomly logging me out because they hate VPN users. So earlier this year I decided to try all the services I can find and settled on Deezer.

They are doing all the right things in the music streaming world but everyone gets hung up on the ugly rebranding they decided to do. Just tells you how important it is to have a great brand identity.

I switched to smart launcher and bought lifetime cause I feel like its actually a really great option I never heard of or tried until I stopped using nova. Lawnchair is good too but for now im sticking with smart launcher.

I use the razr 2023 and its still pretty good. The people testing durability on phones are so unrealistic especially for these foldable displays. Like yeah there is a bit of a crease on mine but its definitely not that big of a deal or noticeable as much as the first gen folds.

One of my grandpas just died this year due to dementia related complications and it is a hell of a way to go. Really hope I dont end up with it getting as bad as I have seen it get before its too late to jump off a bridge.

Meanwhile I am waiting for a pixel flip, I use and see a lot more people using that style rather than a fold.

Not everyone likes to use commands for something as trivial as this, its nice to press a couple buttons and wait for it to be done vs learning how dd works and what arguments to use etc.
