14th on the global top seller’s list for Steam. https://store.steampowered.com/search/?os=win&supportedlang=english&filter=globaltopsellers&ndl=1

They’re still making money despite the crying because people still play it. Right now there’s over 350,000 players in the past hour. On release they earned over 100 million dollars in 3 months…

I hate that people play and encourage shitty practices. I stopped all blizzard support a while ago because they are not what they once were. Larian is the company to support… for now until they get terrible.

Yeah, I like overwatch, have gotten my money’s worth from it and the steam integration makes it so much easier to run on Linux, so I’m happy with it.

Am I missing something? I’ve never played it on steam but the game is free and enjoyable; I’ve yet to feel obligated to spend any money on microtransactions.

The problem I think is that they’ve promised a coop story mode, which was to be the defining feature of it. They cancelled it, so it’s just overmatch. They also decided to change the team size to a more standard 5 instead of the previous 6, which means some friend groups probably have to break up

Yeah they changed some stuff people got pissed off over, but I still think the game is fun to play. There’s no way it’s objectively the worst game on Steam, the fanbase is just overly butthurt. Not saying some of the user concerns aren’t warranted, but this is clearly a case of review bombing rather than an objective score.
