I listened to this one earlier this morning. Wonky is good way to describe it and his voice is super interesting but I kept hoping for something more. I’m not really sure what. Overall it was enjoyable but I’m not sure I’ll go back to it
yeah, can’t quiiiite put my finger on it, but harkens back to old gothy music with that weird quirky twist, may give it another spin after this Laura Groves album https://lemmy.world/post/3034421
It’s choppy yet propulsive, groovy but dark. I love it, certainly among the better releases today.
