@edc

  • @edc Details:

    - I clip the flashlight to my front left pocket or extra left pocket if there is one
    - The Mountaineer goes in my front left pocket
    - I only bring my wallet and keys when out and about. Keys clip to the left side of my pants, wallet goes in a bag or front left pocket above my SAK
    - I carry the Junior if I have extra pant pockets, the blade is easier to open
    - Phone occupies my front right pocket, hank goes in my rear right. Wallet neuritis banned!

    I always enjoy lending a hand :)

        @Mojojojo1993 The Mountaineer is my main - it has nearly all the tools I need including many screwdrivers, two sizes of blade, and great scissors!

        But I carry the Junior because it’s a lot easier to open if I’m wearing gloves or my fingernails just ain’t getting in there easily. Not really useful or entertaining tbh.

        I would consider a dedicated pocketknife instead though, just for being a really nice item and also way easier to open. Doesn’t matter to most people, but for EDC heads, why not?

          Good bloody answer. I’d assume there’s plenty professions where carrying a pocket knife is necessary.

          I ask because my country it’s illegal to carry any knives and you can be charged for carrying any number of objects if they can be used as weapons. I think if you have a good reason to be carrying it then it’s all good.

          Lot of youths and I know In my younger days a lot of boys carried blades for the sole purpose of fighting

    That’s quite an unusual watch! I’m curious about the wooden construction though. How does the finishing look like it will hold up over time?

      @wetferret I’m not sure. It’s definitely got some kind of finish to seal it up a bit. I haven’t noticed any dampness after washing my hands, warping, or anything else, but it’s not waterproof

      Edit: I should clarify the wood came from wine barrels! So that definitely lends some durable properties
