My Dad took me to to get a computer game at Compusa. I picked out one that I thought might be pretty good. It was Half-Life.
My first one was fallout 3 for the PS3.
it ran like total shit, but I had so much fun with it
Can’t be sure game which the first game I bought anymore, but Manic Miner for thew ZX Spectrum is a strong contender!
Golden Sun. I got lucky as hell on a hunch. If there were one series I could re-experience, it will probably always be that one
Hey, who left this bowl of onions here?
Paper Boy on the C64. Then Lemmings on the Amiga 500. The Wing Commander 2 on the PC.
This was Pokemon Red for me but my mom randomly bought that and an Atomic Purple Gameboy Color off Amazon for me. This was back when shipping from them took forever, so I has a solid week of just having the game and box to look at before I actually got to play. The hype I set for myself was well worth it :)
My mom made me do school workbooks she got at a teaching supply store over the summer as a kid. I think I was probably 8 at this time. After I got so many gold stars, I could go to Toys-R-Us to pick out any Gameboy game $20 or under. I picked Tetris 2. All the good games were more than $20. Was it great? No. Is it still special to me? Yes.
My first game was combat ,because it came free with my atari 2600. No your old …
It was Colin McRae Rally 2.0 for me. I played the shit outta that game with my cheap Acme controller.
I remember being taken to a local video game store that ain’t around anymore and being able to pick out Oblivion. It was the first time I’d played a game quite like it and I bounced off at first, but I kept at it and it’s one of my favorite 360 games if not my favorite Elder Scrolls.
My first game was Mass effect 2. Almost chose WoW tho (it was very random, I did not know anything about either of those game).
