I fucking love onions, I also love balance of flavor and I promise you that burger will taste like nothing but onion. It’s also overcooked, there’s no sauce, the tomato is too thin and falling out, looks like criss-crossed bacon which is dumb as fuck, the bun is thin and smashed…all-in-all, it looks like absolute shit. Only thing that looks even a little appetizing is the lettuce, which is like 95% water. With food service prices as high as they are, I’ll stick with tap water, thanks.

Not to mention the bacon looks pretty fatty and the cheese is the plastic fake American cheese that refuses to melt properly instead of a proper cheddar. Yeah, this isn’t food porn. This is an astonishingly mediocre burger.

There’s at least two slices too. I couldn’t stand my own breath after eating that. Yikes!

That’s a spicy black bean patty from Morning Star Farms. Weird how they put what looks like pork bacon on a vegan entree. Whatever

I hate fake vegan foods in general but yeah it’s very good. it doesn’t try to hide what it is and is not trying to be imitation meat, which is why I think it was so tasty. it’s flavor pallete fully embraces the fact that it’s a bean patty And makes the most of it.

Spot on! You are absolutely correct as to why it works.
I just hope that they aren’t shown to cause California or something later on.

AvE on YT transposes cancer and California in his videos all the time and I picked it up. Known to the state of cancer to cause California just has a nice ring in my head.

that’s always been hilarious to me how something is only known to the state of California to cause cancer. there’s an old comic that does a bit: you telling me if I get cancer all I have to do is move out of California and my body won’t acknowledge it anymore? sorry cancer, you don’t have legal grounds to exist anymore.
