    Take-away 1: Electric cars emit 20% more micro-plastics from tires than do ICE vehicles.

    Take-away 2: Electric cars are not the solution to climate change. Whether it’s a 2000lb ICE vehicle, or a 4000lb EV vehicle, it takes a lot of energy which has to come for somewhere, and a lot of material that will have to be mined, and then eventually disposed.

    I’m not sure if this is the case everywhere but where I am at the storm sewers empty water from the streets into the lakes and rivers that eventually go to the ocean. I’d really like to see us disconnect those sewers from the rivers, lakes, and oceans to keep that crap out of the water.

    Edit: clarify language a bit.

      The real problem is it’s never treated, people literally dump shit all the time including soap water from home car washing. Treatment plant than dump is better than what we have.
