    Thank you for sharing this important - and very well written - article.

    Anyone know why Philips kept quiet abut the carcinogenic defect for a decade and announced the problem only after they had a suitable replacement machine?

    I need to check with loved ones now. Wow…

      I almost got this machine but I liked the features on the ResMed more and insisted on it instead. Bullet fucking dodged. It’s absolute bullshit that companies can endanger people like this.

    Yep, I had one of these and used it for years. Luckily mine started degrading right when Phillips replaced it with the new model.

      They said off two nights of data, 1 night was on the threshold and the second night was perfectly normal. And said what/if anything I do was really just up to me. But to try doing whatever I did the second night, and maybe test again later to see if it’s working. I think the difference was sleep orientation
