he was a democrat from the 70’s so that makes him more liberal than today’s democrats; but he’s almost the same generation as biden and he’s not that different.
Because besides FDR, and maybe Lincoln, there is no other slightly decent president. Some people want to hold a memory, even a false one, a hope in darkness that maybe even the US might improve someday instead of continuing its 200+ year decay into feudalism with already worse inequality than at any other point in world history since the time of the pharaohs.
