    That SOUNDS like fun as hell, but just because you can put in a million kW motor into something doesn’t necessarily mean you should.

    I fear that ebikes and escooters and similar vehicles are already getting more attention from the media than they deserve because of the fires, that when people start dying from overly powerful motors, it is going to bring about bans and regulations and certification and stuff like that.

      Regulations and certification for (all) motorized vehicles are a good thing…not everything should be legal to taken to the street, there needs to be standards that are upheld especially for safety reasons

        To some degree, sure. But when regulations get enacted when there is hysteria, like all the battery fires, they tend to go overboard, add needless costs and hurt more than they help.
