Clinton should never have walked back the whole “basket of deplorables” angle IMO :p

It is a great time saver, the confederate flag serves a similar purpose.

It says, “I can’t wait to be disagreeable to you if you aren’t on my team.”

Occasionally I end up in the homes of one of these people, I keep to myself, keep everything professional and nothing more, yet they’ll prod at you to try to figure out what you think, aka “Are you on my team or are you the enemy?” It’s so exhausting. I just play dumb until I can get away.

    Headphones are great for this.

I get to listen to clients go off on meandering rants about illegals, socialists, woke culture, the gays, the trans groomers, etc on a daily basis.

I go Joe Friday mode and stick to “just the facts” of what we’re working on and I move on to the next crazy.

Claiming to be neutral upsets them, too. It has to be “OH YEAH I love that degenerate and deranged career criminal, he’s the best!!” or they are skeptical and upset.

I see a “Women for T****” sign down the road. That’s what the words say, anyway. What it says to me is “I vote against my own best interest.”
