I think you mean “free range cats”. The term " stray" refers to homeless cats/dogs.

True, but neither is acceptable (on the Americas at least, and most other places).
Why are outdoors cats so widely accepted? We have had cats for millennia. They are deeply ingrained in our cultures. We have known about their impact on local wildlife for less than 100 years. It will take time for it to be socially unacceptable to have a cat that is allowed outside.
Hope youre paying a living wage for that kind of exposure
Of course, customers may not be keen to buy anything after being led through the neighbours’ back hedge and across the garage roof.
